Margaret Kistner, MD

Dr. Kistner joined Northwestern Women’s Health Associates in 2022. She is currently affiliated with Northwestern University as a Health System Clinician and has privileges in general OB/GYN at Northwestern Memorial/Prentice Women’s Hospital.

She received her undergraduate degree with honors in Psychology and Biology from the University of Virginia. She then completed both her medical degree as well as her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Loyola University Medical Center. During residency, she served as wellness chief within her department, as well as received the Magis Star for outstanding patient care and Excellence in Teaching Award for medical student education as both a junior and senior resident.

As an OB/GYN Generalist, she seeks to provide comprehensive and evidence-based care within a safe and patient-centered environment. She believes in ongoing education, health advocacy and long-lasting doctor-patient relationships as cornerstones of excellent medical care.

She lives in Logan Square with her partner Richard and Sheepadoodle Zippy, with whom she enjoys staying active with runs, bike rides or any outdoor activities.
