Dr. Abbie Roth is GOLD!
I have never met a doctor who is caring and brilliant and with a great sense of humor as doctor Abbie Roth. She is very professional and has an excellent bedside manner. When I had a life threatening complication after my C-section, she and her Prentice team of doctors and nurses were such an efficient team under pressure while making sure they explain every process and steps during the situation. Dr. Abbie Roth and her team literally saved my life! I am very fortunate to have met Dr. Roth, I will never forget her and will continue to see her for my future OB/Gyne health. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Roth!

Dr. Abbie Roth has been caring for women at Northwestern Women's Health Associates for over 25 years and is dedicated to providing comprehensive gynecological care with expertise, compassion, and a personal touch. She has been board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital / Prentice Women's Hospital. She is also a clinical instructor at Northwestern University.

Dr. Roth is known for her warm bedside manner, her ability to remain calm and skilled under pressure, and her wonderful sense of humor. She believes in clear communication and working collaboratively with her patients to ensure they understand their care every step of the way. Since beginning practice, her area of focus has evolved. She still cares for women of all ages at all stages of life, but Dr. Roth no longer provides obstetrical care. Now her focus is on Well Woman Care. Dr. Roth provides all contraceptive services and evaluates and treats common gynecologic concerns. She is known for being thorough, knowledgeable, and taking the time to listen to her patients' concerns.

Dr. Roth received her Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College in Ohio. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed her residency training at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She was also awarded a Howard Hughes Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. During her training, Dr. Roth received the Gates Pharmaceutical Award for the top medical student in OB/GYN, the Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence, as well as residency awards in both clinical and teaching excellence.

Dr. Roth's commitment to compassionate care extends beyond her clinical practice. Drawing from her own experiences, she designed and implemented a teaching program for residents at Northwestern, training them in the sensitive skill of delivering difficult news to patients—a testament to her dedication to both patient care and medical education.
