Audrey Panko, MD

Dr. Audrey Panko (she/her) joined Northwestern Women’s Health Associates in 2025. She works as a health system clinician at Northwestern University, and as a generalist Ob/Gyn at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Panko received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Richmond. She attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh, during which time she was a member of the Physician Scientist Training Program and received the prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Institute Medical Research Fellowship for her work on fertility and genetics. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, where she served as the Education Chief Resident, and was recognized for excellence in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, medical education, and general outpatient Ob/Gyn care.

Dr. Panko is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care in an inclusive and patient-centered environment. She focuses on strong patient-provider communication and actively promotes shared decision-making. Dr. Panko provides a full scope of obstetric and gynecologic services, caring for individuals across all stages of life.

Her professional interests include gynecologic care from adolescence to post-menopause, menopausal hormone therapy, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, contraception and family planning, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (particularly robotic surgery), and general prenatal care.

Dr. Panko is originally from New Jersey and now lives in the West Loop with her husband and three cats. Outside of medicine, Dr. Panko plays harp with the Northwestern Medical Orchestra, and enjoys reading, biking, and exploring restaurants in the city.
