Audrey Panko, MD

Dr. Audrey Panko (she/her) joined Northwestern Women’s Health Associates in 2025. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women’s Hospital. She provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with expertise in robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is committed to building long-term relationships with her patients and providing comprehensive, evidence-based care in an inclusive, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ friendly environment.

Dr. Panko provides the full scope of Ob/Gyn care across all stages of life, including preconception, pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care, and gynecologic care from adolescence to menopause and beyond, with particular interests in contraception and menopausal hormone therapy. Her surgical practice includes robotic and laparoscopic minimally invasive procedures such as hysterectomy, myomectomy for uterine fibroids, ovarian cyst removal, endometriosis surgery, and tubal sterilization for permanent contraception.

Patients describe Dr. Panko as warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. They appreciate that she takes the time to listen, explain their options, and answer questions without making them feel rushed. Patients also share that she has made their first pelvic exam a comfortable and positive experience, reflecting her thoughtful approach to creating a welcoming, supportive environment and her commitment to compassionate, individualized care.

Prior to joining Northwestern Women’s Health Associates, Dr. Panko earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Richmond and attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, where she served as Education Chief Resident. During residency, she was recognized for excellence in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, medical education, and general outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care.

Dr. Panko is originally from New Jersey and now lives in the West Loop with her husband and cats. Outside of medicine, she plays harp with the Northwestern Medical Orchestra and enjoys biking, yoga, and exploring restaurants throughout Chicago.
